#Pale moon vs chrome 64 Bit

I'm typing this post using 64 bit linux Pale Moon in 64 bit linux Mint 17.3 (Rosa) Xfce. The newest version of Pale Moon is version (26.2.1). BTW, Windows 7 is my backup operating system to default linux Mint operating system. Pale Moon is my default browser in both Windows 7 and linux Mint. Linux Pale Moon came out in January of the year 2014 when linux Pale Moon became publicly available in linux. In linux I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon with 64 bit linux Mint 17.3 (Rosa) Xfce. I've been using 32 bit Windows Pale Moon with 64 bit Windows 7 since the year 2011. Thanks, but no thanks: I think it's an unnecessary layer of complexity (and therefore of fragility), to fix back to normality something that didn't need to be changed in the first place. Somebody will probably point out that new Firefox has an extention that gives back the old feeling. I'm not a heavy user of extentions, just "adblock edge", "disconnect" and a few more and I'm not a theme fan, so no problem there.

I've tried it for a few moments, and there is next to no difference compared to FF28, but I would like to know if anybody has long-term experience with it. Then, I stumbled on Pale Moon, that seems to be an up-to-date fork of old-school Firefox. And also, isn't there Chrome for that? So, I'm (voluntarily) stuck with version 28, but it has problems with some websites I need to use, and also I don't feel too comfortable using a browser that old. I've always used Firefox, but I also won't use anything past version 28: what used to be a sensible tool has now become a toy to "stay connected" for people who share a view of the web I don't agree with at all, no offence.
